Description: | Immortals Connor and Duncan Macleod must join forces against Kell, an evil immortal who has become too strong for anyone to face alone. | Comments: | Saying this is better than 2 and 3 is like saying a rotten cheese tastes better than crap in the toilet. Connor(Lambert) and Duncan(Paul) square off against Kell a warrior who is three times stronger than them both he has 600 some kills The Macleods have only 500 some together or something like that It doesn't make much sense in any case. Donnie Yen is wasted as a fellow immortal and Christopher Lambert looks very out of place here what was his point. and then his daughter dies in the beginning but what happened to his son from 3 and why does Lambert look so weak and in the first The Kurgan was the strongest so where the heck does Kell play in, wouldn't Kell had been killed in the first Highlander or at least Kurgan should have been killed because in Highlander Lambert won the prize but then he didn't because Kell was here if this doesn't make sense to you don't worry it doesn't make much sense to me I mean at least in 2 it was implied somewhat more logicly this one is all over the map. And when Lambert gives the best performance of the movie wait let me rephrase that when Lambert gives the least Inept performance you know it's not a good sign. this one earns a 4 simpily because of some cool action scenes and Yen's martial artistry and because I liked the first. If you didn't like the first take a point off. Footnote: Lambert has the same feeling Michael Dudikoff did in American Ninja 4 and that feeling is shame.Only for Die Hard Highlander fans! 4/10 **/**** |
