| Description: | When a Harvard-educated CIA agent is killed during an operation, the secret agency recruits his twin brother (Chris Rock). | Comments: | "Bad Company" is a state-of-the-art production which falls apart in execution. The problem with this critically panned and very mechanical flick is the appalling lack of vision, creativity, and inspiration. At the top of litany of deficits is the Rock/Hopkins chemistry or lack of it. The two principals are at opposite ends of the comedy-drama spectrum - a schism so severe as to require the audience to constantly reverse their mindset jerking from comedy to drama and back again...etc. A busy flick which leaves the viewer detached and disengaged as it drones monotonously through its misguided run, the best that can be said about "Bad Company" is it probably will work as fodder for the action junkie couch potato who isn't too discerning.
