Comments:	A "monsters' ball" it is; note the position of the apostrophe. Actually it's more like a catalogue of bad parents, and if "honesty" and "rawness" amounts to having the same nasty traits demonstrated in exactly the same unimaginative way again and again, then, yeah, whatever, I guess this is honest and raw. But you did notice, didn't you, that this is essentially a made-for-TV movie? That there might as well be ad breaks? That ad breaks would probably even help, given the way the film's segments dissociate from one another - for instance, the way we're never sure whether or not Leticia has guessed that Hank was one of her husband's executioners, until she "dramatically" finds out that he was - and then nothing comes of the moment, anyway. Insert ad breaks before and after that scene and it makes a good deal more sense. And you did also notice, didn't you, how unremarkable and uncharged all the images are? You might as well lop the ends off to fit them on a TV screen; it makes no difference. Something's wrong when something this ordinary gets noticed at all.
